Application Design: Visual Instructions
Create a set of clear and beautiful visual instructions using any combination of illustrations, images, symbols, or numbers. You may not use words. You are designing how to complete a simple physical task to a multi-lingual audience.
The goal of this project was to design a set of visual instructions for a simple, daily task. I chose to create instructions for the task making a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich.
Creating a visual instruction set that could be interpreted despite language barriers is tricky but important. This is a skill that companies like Lego and Ikea have been widely successful at accomplishing.
Wireframes were used to construct a map of this prototype application, and help to
analyze the effectiveness of overall navigation.
